Frequently asked

The questions we actually get.

What we trade, how a transaction is structured, what gets checked before anything moves, and how an intermediary keeps their position. If the answer you need is not here, the assistant at the corner of the page searches the same list, and an advisor answers what neither can.

The group

What does T&T do?

We are an international consulting business, operating since 2009, with two operating divisions: Commodities & Energy, which trades fuel and agricultural commodities at vessel scale, and Food & Beverage Trade, which distributes containerised consumer goods. We connect buyers and intermediaries with verified product holders under commercialization agreements, and we structure the transaction rather than only introducing the parties.

Are you a broker, or do you hold the product?

Neither exactly. We work under active commercialization contracts with verified product holders, so every offer we list comes from a validated origin with allocation and refinery or terminal documentation behind it. What that buys a buyer is a structured, compliant channel instead of a fragmented broker chain.

How do I know an offer is real?

Because nothing is published before it is validated. Offers appear only after the seller, the allocation and the documentation have been checked, and the counterparty has passed KYC, AML and sanctions screening. If a deal cannot be documented, it does not get listed. We do not speculate.

Where are you based?

Four locations and two headquarters. Clearwater, Florida is the office of record and carries the general and trading desks. Split, Croatia is the general Europe headquarters and covers the Adriatic corridor and the European Union. Bogota and Buenos Aires cover Latin America.

Products

Which fuel products do you trade?

Three: Diesel EN590 10 ppm, Virgin Fuel Oil D6, and Jet Fuel A1. All on TTT, TTS, STS or CIF terms, out of Rotterdam, Houston or Fujairah, with product originating in East and Central Europe, North America and the Mexican Gulf, or the Middle East, GCC and MENA.

Which agricultural commodities do you trade?

Nine: Sugar ICUMSA 45, Sugar VHP 600/1200, non-GMO and GMO soybean grain, non-GMO and GMO soybean meal 46%, GMO yellow corn, fresh cocoa bean, and wheat flour. Sugar, soy and corn ship from Brazil; cocoa from Ecuador, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Cameroon or Papua New Guinea; wheat flour from Mersin in Turkey. All CIF to main ports.

What are the minimum and maximum quantities?

They differ by product and are published on every product card. Diesel EN590 runs 35,000 to 300,000 MT. D6 runs 8 to 150 million gallons a month, Jet A1 500,000 to 5 million barrels a month. Most agri products run 1,500 to 100,000 MT, with cocoa at 100 to 2,000 MT and wheat flour at 100 to 3,000 MT.

What is your price?

We do not publish prices. They move with the market, the volume, the incoterm and the delivery window, so a number on a page would be wrong by the time you read it. Send the commodity, the quantity, the destination and the terms you are working to, and we come back with a documented offer.

Do you handle food and beverage goods?

Yes, through Tudor Adriatic: containerised consumer goods on CIF or DDP terms, port to door, with mixed-load consolidation, labelling compliance and quality checks. It is a separate division from Commodities & Energy and works at container rather than vessel scale.

Do you handle a product that is not listed?

The product book is what we have verified supply for right now, not the limit of what we can look at. Tell us the commodity, the volume and the destination, and you will get a straight answer about whether we can source it rather than a maybe.

How a deal works

How does a transaction start?

You tell us your position in the deal (buyer, seller or broker on either side), the commodity, the quantity and unit, the frequency, the incoterms and the price you are working to. We validate the counterparty and the documentation before any negotiation begins, which is the point at which most deals fail elsewhere.

What documents will you ask me for?

A company registration document to begin with, and a signed NCNDA if you already have one with us. If you are a broker on either side, the mandate document that establishes your role. Depending on the transaction we will also work through LOI, POP, POF and the SPA. The compliance file is built before execution, not after.

Which incoterms and delivery modes do you work with?

For fuel: TTT, TTS, STS and CIF. For agri: CIF to all main ports. The form also accepts FOB, FAS and combined FOB and CIF transactions. Logistics and lift scheduling are coordinated as part of execution rather than left to the parties.

How is payment structured?

Through escrow with tier-one banks, and with the financial instruments the transaction calls for: SBLC, MT799 and DLC are all handled. The structure is designed in phase 02 of the protocol and the legal framework around it is built in phase 03, before anything moves.

What is the ALCA protocol?

The four-phase methodology that governs every engagement: Assess and Audit, Layer and Structure, Comply and Protect, Activate and Automate. The sequence is not negotiable. No phase is skipped and none begins before the one before it is complete and documented. It exists because the expensive failures in this business come from executing the wrong thing in the wrong structure, not from executing badly.

How long does it take?

That depends on the product, the counterparty and how complete your documentation is when you arrive, so we do not publish a number we would have to qualify. What is fixed is the order: assessment closes before structuring, structuring before compliance, compliance before execution. The audit phase ends with a documented ninety day roadmap, so you see the timeline for your own engagement before committing to it.

Can I engage you for one phase only?

For the first one, yes, and for the first two or three together. What you cannot buy is a later phase on its own: nothing moves to execution until assessment, structuring and compliance are closed, so a phase without the ones before it is not something the protocol can deliver. They are gates rather than a menu. The audit phase is also sold separately as a due diligence report.

Due diligence

Can you check a counterparty I found myself?

Yes, and that is exactly where this service begins. You send the legal name, the jurisdiction, what they are offering and the documents you have received, and you get back a written report at a fixed price on a fixed deadline. We look at whether the company exists and stands where they say it does, whether they clear the regimes that apply, and whether the paper is coherent with how the real instruments of this market are drafted.

What does the report actually say?

Two lists and a recommendation. What was verified: the screening with the hour it was run, corporate standing where the register is public, whether the documents are coherent, whether the commercial terms are plausible for that product and route. And what could not be verified, which is often the more valuable half: "we could not confirm that this refinery has any relationship with this seller" is a sentence worth paying for. It never promises that a counterparty is legitimate, that a deal will close, or that there is no fraud.

Would you assess a counterparty you introduced yourselves?

No, and that rule is published rather than promised. We earn commission on transactions, so verifying a counterparty we are also broking would be acting as judge and party. If the seller came from our book they are already verified and we do not charge you to confirm it, which is part of what the commission pays for. The request form asks the question outright, because a rule the system cannot apply is only an intention.

Compliance

What compliance checks do you run?

Full KYC and AML due diligence on every counterparty, sanctions screening of parties, vessels and jurisdictions against the applicable regimes, and contractual protections structured in before a transaction closes. These are gates, not a menu: nothing moves to the next one until the previous one closes.

Which regulatory regimes do you work under?

OFAC, AML and EU trade compliance protocols across the board. MiFID II and REMIT where energy and commodity derivatives are involved. HACCP, FDA and EFSA standards, plus customs and phytosanitary requirements, for food trade. The supplier's company details and the documents for each cargo are shown to you before you commit, so that you can check them yourself.

Can you prove where the product comes from?

What we can show, we show: the supplier's company details and the documents for each cargo are shown to you before you commit, so that you can check them yourself, or have anyone you choose check them. We do not ask you to take the rest of the supply chain on our word.

Intermediaries

Are intermediary commissions protected?

Yes, and structurally rather than by goodwill. Roles are mapped and documented, commission flow is protected through IMFPA structuring, and the chain of responsibility is validated. Protecting the position of brokers and mandates is one of the four things the platform exists to do.

I am a broker. How do I bring a buyer or a seller?

Start the same way anyone does, but select your side on the form: buyer's broker or seller's broker. You will be asked for the mandate document that establishes your role in the transaction. Once the chain is documented, your position in it is a matter of record rather than of trust.

What stops me being cut out of the deal?

Documentation, applied before anything is negotiated. Every actor and document entering the deal flow is vetted first, roles are formalised, and the NCNDA and IMFPA are in place before parties meet. That is the difference between a protected position and an understanding.

Getting started

How do I get a quote?

Use the Get Started form. It asks your side of the deal, your company, the commodity, the quantity and unit, the frequency, the incoterms and your target price, and it takes your company registration document and NCNDA if you have them. The more of it you complete, the fewer rounds it takes to reach an offer.

How quickly will someone reply?

The desks keep office hours, nine to five, Monday to Friday. Clearwater runs on Florida time and covers the general and trading desks; the import desk runs on Split time. The pill at the top of the page shows whether the desk for the page you are on is open right now.

Careers

Are you hiring?

Three open mandates, all Regional Sales Executive: Eastern Europe based in Croatia, Southern Europe based in Valencia, and Middle East and North Africa based in the UAE. All three are commission-based, fully remote, and carry executive weight.

How are the sales roles paid?

Direct commission of 4% to 7% of the net value of each closed contract, depending on product category, volume and deal complexity, with no cap. Commissions can be structured in phases: after LOI submission, after SPA signing, and after first lift execution. There are biannual and annual performance bonuses on top.

How do I apply?

The form at the foot of the Careers page. It takes your CV as a PDF or Word document up to 8 MB, and asks which territory you are applying for. If your experience fits a mandate that is not listed, say so in the message and send it anyway.

Contact

How do I reach a person?

Three desks by email: info@tudorsgroup.com for the group, trading@tudorsgroup.com for the trading desk, and quotes@tudorsgroup.com for offers. By phone, +1 813 384 8490. The office of record is 13575 58th St N, Suite 200, Clearwater, FL 33760.

Privacy

What do you do with the information I send?

It goes to the desk that handles your kind of enquiry and is held under the Privacy Policy, which covers both the United States and the European Union. Commercial data, documents and participant identities are handled under limited access and cross-border trade confidentiality protocols. You can ask us to access, correct or delete what we hold at info@tudorsgroup.com.

Do you use cookies?

No cookies of our own, no advertising or analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers. The fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google. The site keeps one thing in your browser: your cookie choice (tt-consent). If you pay for a consultation on the booking page, Stripe's payment form may set Stripe's own cookies to prevent fraud. You can change your choice under Cookie settings in the footer, and the Cookie Policy lists everything.

Still open

Ask a person.

If it is a live transaction, the trading desk is faster than any form. If it is a question about whether we are the right people for something, say that and you will get a straight answer rather than a pitch.
